Kyle Sweet, JD, brings decades of experience representing business clients, captives, and commercial insurers in complex litigation and risk advisory work nationwide. A nationally recognized thought leader on patient safety and harm prevention, he works to build collaboration among defense lawyers and train the next generation of trial attorneys.

A captive owner himself, Kyle has seen how captives transform risk financing from a chronic expense into a source of returns—helping healthcare clients reinvest through patient safety grants and technology that improve care. His business interests span legal outsourcing, technology, banking, e-commerce, commercial real estate, and insurance.

Kyle is Past Chair of the Mercy Health Foundation and a board member of the Collaborative for Accountability and Improvement at the University of Washington. He holds a JD from the University of Oklahoma and is licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, and New York.
